Jordan Sumner, 26, was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. From the age of five, he remembers rocking out to the music of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Motown. Even then, Jordan knew that he wanted to be a musical performer. His love for music brought him to musical theatre where he performed in the productions of High School Musical, All Shook Up, Sweeney Todd, and Altar Boyz.
In addition to entertaining, Jordan hopes to show people how to inspire love within themselves and others through the power of music. “I’ve been enjoying it every step of the way,” he states, “every moment of my life I’ve been able to sing, to move people in a way I never thought possible.”
Jordan’s desire to inspire people also extends to other areas of his life. He is currently working with special needs adults. “Nothing could be more rewarding than seeing their excitement when they have learned something new.” Plus, they love his music.
Over the past year, Jordan has been interviewed on the radio and performed at The Kabuki Theater (San Francisco), The Fenix (San Rafael) and other Bay Area venues, however most of his time has been spent in the recording studio completing over 40 original songs in different music genres, including pop, R&B, jazz, rap and rock. He is now releasing and performing these songs, expanding his career with incredible content.
